From the parking area, walk along the sidewalk towards the nature center. Soon, an exhibit can be see which displays a huge section of a redwood. The rings are labeled and indicate that this tree started growing before the birth of Christ. After examining the display, continue to the nature center and the start of the Redwood Grove trail.
